Dai and Dougal's Norway

Dai:Ithink this place is great. We had a sauna which was very fun. Last night i     was very cold and the matress was herrendous but so far a good trip nevertheless.

Dougal: hello England. We had an early morning walk and collected icicles from frozen waterfalls. It is very cold abut the people at the concert seem to like us. See u soon. Dougal

Ed: Not only did the people at the concert like them but some liitle old ladies had tears running down their faces. Alex L said after 'was that because we were so bad?'
The applause reassured him that this was not the case.
'How lovely are thy dwellings', Rutter's 'The Lord bless you and keep you' and 'Steal away to Jesus' went down particularly well ( I think Paddy's solo in the latter was the cause of the tears).
'Abide with me' was a request from the Kantor which was also much enjoyed.
Also at both concerts so far the applause has become a rhythmic hand clapping to indicate the desire for an encore.

The church hall was fairly warm but rather more basic than Asane. Food great though- lasagne last night and White bread at breakfast which boys liked.

We are now on the way to Eid. Hope to be able to send photos soon.

  1. Hi Everyone. I don't know..... Making old ladies cry? Whatever next?
It all sounds exciting apart from maybe the hard matresses. Before too long the audience may be swelled by family members. If some of the afore mentioned ladies mob Dougal this will probably be the reason.
The blog is excellent. We eagerly await the next installment.
    See you soon Dougie
